Obviously, there will be times when a parent just doesn’t understand what to do because of stress or other problems. Most of those parents come to a quick understanding when they hear the other parents in your class talk about how they resolved their situations.
Occasionally that is just not enough for them, so what works then? Recap your previous lesson but with the actual names of that parent’s family members so it is totally personal. That takes care of nearly all the parents who didn’t understand it immediately.
But there can be a few parents occasionally (<1%) who just don’t get it no matter what you do.
Stumped? Not a chance. We teach a unique method based on solid psychological research that helps you “mess with their minds” a little.
So does that really work? We have been using it ourselves for more than 30 years, and have been teaching it for 25 years to parenting instructors all across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Australia & New Zealand, and many countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
